About
Delia Castro is an associate attorney who joined The Law Office of Michael J. Crawford in November of 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Castro worked as a prosecutor in Ellis County, and she gained experience working on personal injury trials at civil law firms in Dallas.
Ms. Castro brings a unique background a strong foundation in criminal law, having over 17 years of service as a police officer and detective prior to graduating from law school. Delia’s prior law enforcement experience brings perspective and understanding to a case that few criminal defense attorneys possess. Delia understands the complexity of law enforcement investigations and can use that knowledge to help assist you in your case. Delia’s law enforcement career includes assisting on complex state and federal cases including narcotics, homicides, domestic violence, sexual assaults, financial crimes, and robberies.
She graduated cum laude from University of North Texas College of Law in Dallas, Texas, where she was the publications editor of the Law Review, a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, a member of the Board of Advocates, and a Sarah T. Hughes Scholar. While in Law School, Ms. Castro also participated in the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic assisting with applications for claims of innocence.
